EQUIPMENT USE POLICIES

• The Yale Biological Anthropology Laboratories (YBAL) maintain a selection of field and laboratory equipment for Department members’ use.

• The primary purpose of the equipment is to support the instructional program. Secondary priority will be for graduate and undergraduate student research conducted under the auspices of the Biological Anthropology Division of the Department of Anthropology, Yale University.

• Requests for equipment must be made to the YBAL Supervisor.

• Please inform the YBAL Supervisor of problems with equipment. This will help the YBAL to determine which pieces are in need of maintenance or repairs.

• Borrowers are responsible for the costs of replacement or repair of equipment lost or damaged in their care.
