Finding Your Ethernet Hardware Address: Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger
To determine the EHA of your computer running Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, please follow the steps below. If you need further assistance, please request help from a Student Tech.

Click on the
in the top left corner. Choose System Preferences from
the
menu.

The System Preferences window will appear. Click on Network.

Select Built-in Ethernet.

Select Built-in Ethernet in the dropdown box next to Show:. Select the tab for Ethernet.

For the EHA of your wireless AirPort card, select AirPort after Show:. The EHA is displayed
after Airport ID.
- Write down your Ethernet Hardware Addresses exactly as you see it on your screen. EHAs use only hexadecimal characters: they only contain the letters A through F and the numerals 0 through 9.
