Finding Your Ethernet Hardware Address: Mac OS X 10.3 Panther
To determine the EHA of your computer running Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, please follow the steps below. If you need further assistance, please request help from a Student Tech.

Click on the
in the top left corner. Choose System Preferences from
the
menu.

The System Preferences window will appear. Click on Network.

Select your Ethernet card in the dropdown box next to Show:. If you cannot select your card, please
request help from a Student Tech.

For the EHA of your wired Ethernet card, select the Ethernet tab. The EHA is displayed after Ethernet ID.

For the EHA of your wireless Airport card, select the Airport tab. The EHA is displayed after Airport ID.
- Write down your Ethernet Hardware Addresses exactly as you see it on your screen. EHAs use only hexadecimal characters: they only contain the letters A through F and the numerals 0 through 9.
