Xi Omicron Program Implementation

Project H.O.P.E. which stands for Helping Other People Excel is an North Atlantic Region wide service project that is held the Saturday after Thanksgiving. In 2008, the Xi Omicron Chapter donated items to the Forbes House, AIDS Interfaith, and the Andrew House.

Women 2 Women is monthly speaker series held at Yale University, the University of New Haven, Southern Connecticut State University, Albertus Magnus, and Quinnipiac. Topics range from the affect of Sickle on our community to current state of Economics in the United States.

Polished Pearls is a mentoring program for high school women in the Greater New Haven area. The ladies of Xi Omicron have partnered with Big Brothers, Big Sisters to help foster the ideals of scholarship, sisterhood, and service.

 

The Brailing Project is held every Saturday at the Connecticut Children’s museum in which the members of Xi Omicron utilize technology in order to Braille books for blind children in Connecticut.
