Directions (by automobile)

Note for 2009-2010: The bridge at Prospect and Trumbull Streets will be out for at least one year, so travel on Prospect between Grove and Sachem Streets is not possible. Nor is it possible to drive on Trumbull between Hillhouse and Canal Street.

Route 15 (Wilbur Cross/Merritt Parkways)

From the north: Take Exit 61. Drive south on Whitney Avenue for approximately five miles to the stop light at the intersection with Sachem Street. Turn right on Sachem Street. Drive two blocks to the next stop light, at Prospect Street. Turn right onto Prospect Street. Agrarian Studies is the second building on the left after Ingalls Rink.

From the south: Take Exit 57. Drive east on Route 34 (Derby Avenue) for five miles to the fork of Derby Avenue and George Street (three blocks past the Yale Athletic Fields). Bear right on George Street. Continue on George Street to Church Street. Turn left on Church Street, continue to the stop light at Sachem Street, then left onto Sachem Street. Drive two blocks to the next stop light, at Prospect Street. Turn right onto Prospect Street. Agrarian Studies is the second building on the left after Ingalls Rink.

Interstate 95

From north and south: Take I-91 North toward Hartford/Springfield. Continue for a short distance on I-91 to the Trumbull Street Exit 3. Stay in the middle lane and continue straight through the traffic light onto Trumbull Street. Continue past three more traffic lights (Church Street, Temple Street, and Hillhouse Avenue) to the fourth light at Prospect Street. Turn right onto Prospect Street, drive past the next stop light (at Sachem Street).

Turn right at the second traffic light onto Whitney Avenue, then left at the next traffic light onto Sachem Street. Drive two blocks to the next stop light, at Prospect Street. Turn right onto Prospect Street and turn right.

Agrarian Studies is the second building on the left after Ingalls Rink.
