The AdHoc Database of Images and Text, a Yale Divinity School faculty-library
initiative, is web-searchable database that contains electronic images and texts
related to the history of Christianity. Because of copyright restrictions, some
of the images and texts contained in the database are not accessible to the general
public.
The EIKON Image Database for Biblical Studies is being developed at
Yale Divinity School during the 1998 -1999 academic year with a grant
from the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and
Religion.
Images in the EIKON database are a subset of the AdHoc Digital Library.
