Acknowledgements

Begun in 1996, Ad Hoc was the brainchild of Katherine Gill, who was Assistant Professor of the History of Christianity at the Yale Divinity School. It was established with a gift from John Ely in memory of Harriet Jackson Ely, recognizing her commitment to the study of history and religion. Development of the Ad Hoc Digital Library during the 1997/1998 academic year was supported by a Faculty Support Grant from the Yale University Library and Yale Information and Technology Services. AdHoc receives ongoing support from the Yale Divinity School Library and the Divinity School administration.
