J.
Vincent H. Morrissette received a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Fairfield Unversity, a Master of Arts degree from Boston College, and a
PhD Candidacy from the Unviersity of Michigan.
He received a Fulbright and a University of Michigan Horace H. Rackham
grant to study in Florence.
He has taught at the middle school, high school, college and university
levels in CT, MA, MI, & CA. In
retire-
ment, he is teaching at his Alma Mater (Fairfield) and at Sacred Heart
University. Every
July he teaches two language courses in Paris.
He received the Educator Award for Language Teaching Excellence formt
eh International Language and Culture Foundation (Monterey, CA) in 1994
and the Outstanding Teacher Award from the California Language
Teachers' Association in 1998.
He continutes to give workshops, present papers, and write book re-
views
for The French Review.
His professional career will span
half
a century come Sept. 2008. |
