Professional Interests:
My name is Mary Stone and I attend Naugatuck Valley Community College. I am forty seven, a mother of two and a grandparent of three. My major is Human Service because it has been my life long passion to try and be helpful to people in need of services. I work for Yale University Department of Psychiatry as a Case Manager under the Program for Recovery and Community Health.
Through the PRCH program they have the case managers, community connectors, and peer support services. The primary focus is on people suffering from mental illness. This was one of the main factors when applying for this job--that is to be of any assistance I can be to help make someone suffering from a mental illness make life more productive and enjoyable.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy volunteering for the food bank at my church, going to the movies, attending church services and giving back to society.
