Role in Program:
Administrative associate
Professional Interests: I am a champion of civil, human and animal rights, and will continue to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves as often as I can. I believe in and work for peace and social justice each and every day. I am a Justice of the Peace and have served on the Environmental Use and Climate Change Commission in Hamden, CT.
Personal Interests: I am a conservationist, a naturalist, a musician and music lover. My husband and I own a record store in Hamden, as well as the record label, Three Cool Cats. I personally think that without music, life would be a mistake (my favorite Nietzsche quote). I am a Red Cross disaster relief worker, and have responded to a number of emergencies around the tri-state area, including September 11th, 2001. I find solitude in nature and in the kindness of my family, friends and co-workers. I am also heavily involved with many local land trusts throughout Connecticut, including Hamden, Guilford and Madison, as well as the Sleeping Giant Park Association. I am an active member of the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and the SPLC, to name a few.
