Role in Program:
Program Coordinator
Member, PRCH Leadership Group
Profile:
I have worked in the field of psychiatry since 1992 at Yale New Haven Hospital as a casual mental health worker. Yale Psychiatric Institute (YPI) was my first full time job working inpatient and although I truly loved working with people in crisis; I was fortunate enough to find work as a research assistant with PRCH in 2001 which exposed me to working with residents living in the community and gaining access to mental health services. Over the years my role has expanded/evolved into coordinating the infrastructure of our program.
Professional Interests:
I enjoy working with people in the community, listening to their stories and learning from their life experience. I am currently working on completing my masters degree in social work with a focus on marriage and family therapy.
Personal Interests:
Competitive is my middle name. The challenge of any game will get my attention; you name the game and I’m there! My family means the world to me, as do my close friends. Any day is a good day as long as it includes God, my family and friends.
