The
Batesville School District is located
in Northcentral Arkansas in the foothills
of the Ozark Mountains. The chief function
of th District is to provide and instructional
program that meets the needs of all students.
The
Batesville School District has an enrollment
of 2080 Kindergarten through 12th grade
and 90 pre-school children. The District
has eight campuses: high school, junior
high, middle school, three elementary
and a kindergarten / early childhood center.

The
Batesville Preschool, Parents As Teachers
Program, Family Resource Center, Before
and After School Program, and the STAR
(Summer To Always Remember) Program are
all located on the Kindergarten / Early
Childhood Campus. In addition to the District
Preschool, space is provided for five
Headstart classrooms on three sites.

Through
Children of Northcentral Arkansas and
the Early Child Education Staff, we are
able to offer a strong resource network
for childcare providers in our community.
We offer a lending library with on site
delivery and pick-up, consultation services
with certified staff and local workshops,
and trainings to assist in providing information
locally.
Our
strongest areas are the Preschool Program,
Before and After School Program, STAR
Program, the Childcare Provider Network
and the collaboration with the community.
The PAT Program has been operating only
five months, but it is growing very rapidly.

Please
see Batesville's website
for more information on their program.
